By simply entering a prompt, the AI interprets your input, understands your requirements, and generates a customised strategy. You can then deploy, edit, or explore the strategy further as per your needs.

Here’s how to use it through a simple use-case scenario:

Step 1: Go to the uTrade Algos web platform and log in to your account. Click on the ‘Create With AI’, located at the top menu, to get started. You can access the AI Strategy Builder from the ‘My Portfolio’ section as well.

Step 2: Here, you can describe your requirements for the strategy. For instance:

“Design a market index strategy using dynamic strikes for capturing expected intraday volatility based on elevated options premiums and PCR trends ” — your strategy is created in seconds.” For those who’re just getting started, you can also choose from any of the pre-built prompts.

Step 3: The AI will analyse the prompt and generate a customised algo trading strategy with its key features mentioned.

Step 4: You can view the portfolio details and adjust or edit them manually using the editor. Advanced users can edit the YAML code of the strategy for customisation.

Step 5: You can ask follow-up questions and ask to create multiple strategies under the portfolio or to further improve the strategy.

Step 6: Analyse the strategy deeper by backtesting and checking the payoff curve of your portfolio.
